Beast
The old king sits in his big white castle
From there he can see all the world’s great hassle
He thinks he knows why it goes as it goes
And that nothing escapes his authoritative gaze
Well luckily he’s as vain as a peacock
as easy to fool as a sitting duck
And he forgot that the desperate douche –
he’s got nothing to choose from
and nothing to – nothing to lose
There’s a ravenous fox
Outside the chicken coop
He looks at his watch
Time to make the move
His earless belly aches
Outside the king’s keep
He’s chewing his fingers
He’s licking his teeth
Sire, let me in, I’m outta my pills
Just hit me up so can pay my bills
I used to be one of your loyal cadets
And now I go pulling my empty fishing nets
I’m still young I know I don’t look my age
I’ve got plenty of time, let me out of my cage
What would you do if you stood in my shoes
I’ve got nothing to choose from
And nothing to – nothing to lose
